Internet Access Guide : Dial-Up
Most dial-up Internet access services are charged based on connection
time. Some dial-up services don't require a separate subscription
from the telephone service. In that case the telephone operator also
acts as the ISP and the Internet fee is integrated into the telephone bill.
However in
most cases you have to register to an ISP, choose a subscription
plan, and are given a startup disk to start using the service.
